Bishop Luis Tylka will be coming to St Anthony’s to celebrate Mass on Sunday, July 20th. Please join us for this special opportunity. Mass will be followed by a luncheon. Let us pack the hall! Let us show Bishop Tylka that our church is growing and we are grateful to retain our church under the new diocese re-organization plan.

Our photographer, Victoria Spivey, will be on site to take your family photo. It only takes 5–15 minutes to get your picture taken and fill out a short contact form.

The Most Holy Trinity

June 14-15, 2025

Thank you to all who have joined us today for this Eucharistic Celebration.  Welcome to visitors, guests and parishioners.

  •  Today we celebrate the Most Holy Trinity.   The readings begin on p.178.   

  • Please pray for all St. Anthony’s friends and family members who are ill or deceased. This week we especially want to pray for Kathy Purkhiser, Carlos Juarez,  Bill and Cookie Spivey, Jonathan Nichols, Jim and Debbie Benjamin, Jim and Kay Brown, Father Ted and Father Ignatius, Dolores Forch, Raquel Torres, Jerry and Pat Northam, and Loretta Alt

  • The next Coffee and Rosary is Tuesday, June 17 at 9:15 am. All are welcome., 

  • Next Sunday, June 22, we will be celebrating the Feast of Corpus Christi. Following Mass, there will be a short procession around the parking lot then we will come back into church for a short Adoration.  

  • Good news!  After many years without a current directory, St. Anthony’s will be  creating a new photo directory.  We’d love to have everyone’s participation!  On Saturday, June 21 from 4-5 PM and Sunday, June 22 from 10:30 AM -12:30 PM, Victoria Spivey will be set up in the Parish Hall to take individual or family photos.  Also, you will be asked to complete a form with updated contact information for the directory. Please plan for 10-15 minutes before or after Mass.

  • Bishop Louis Tylka will be coming to St. Anthony’s to celebrate Mass on Sunday, July 20th. We will have a special Mass at 11am with a meal following.   Please plan to join us for this special opportunity.

  • Today we celebrate The Ascension of the Lord.  

  • Please pray for all St. Anthony’s friends and family members who are ill or deceased.   • We are in need of more help on Thursdays for Adoration. Please contact Debbie in the Office if you are willing to be a partner with a current adorer.

  • The Methodist Church has completed their 8th water resistant sleeping mat and are requesting more shopping bags. Please leave them in the back of our church.

  • MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Bishop Louis Tylka is coming to St. Anthonys’ to Mass on Sunday July 20. Please join us for this special event. There will be a reception/ luncheon (plans are still being made).

  • We are in NEED of Mass Intentions. There is no better way to honor those you love than to offer a Mass for their intentions. Please use the form in the bulletin.

  • There will be a Catholic Night Out with the Danville Dans on July 1 with rain date being July 3. This open to all Catholics in Vermilion County.

  • Linda Nicholls and Becky Martinez are going to Peoria on June 7 to be recognized by the Diocese Council of Catholic Women for volunteering within our parish. Congratulations to them.

  • There will be no Mass on June 10, 11 and 12. There will be no Adoration on June 12. Father Ignatius will be at a retreat.

  • Items for the church rummage sale may be dropped off on Mon., Wed., Thurs. from noon to four. Call the office for other times.

  • There will be No Donut Sunday in June due to the tables being set up in the hall for the garage sale.

  • The Parish Council will meet on Thursday, June 5 at 6PM.  All are welcome to attend.

  • The Liturgy and Special Events Committees will meet together on Monday, June 9 at 6PM to  plan for Corpus Christi Mass and begin planning for  Bishop Tylka’s Jubilee Mass and Meal.

  • Beginning next Sunday, Father Ted will be celebrating 11am Spanish Mass.

  • St. Anthony’s garage sale will be Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7.  Items can be dropped off at the hall during office hours or you can call Debbie or Kim Burch to arrange a drop off time.


  • There will be No Donut Sunday in June due to the tables being set up in the hall for the garage sale.


  • Our final CCD for this year was Wednesday.  We ended with an ice cream sundae party! Our enrollment has increased! 32 students attended class this year!  Thank you to all of the parents who faithfully brought your children to class weekly. A special thanks to our teachers: Cathy Kasalis, Sara Kasalis, Caydyn Kasalis, Charlotte Smith, Linda Lugo, Libby Lugo, Theresa Saldana, Kim Burch, Cyndi Yates, Jane Sweeney,and thanks to  Amanda Martinez, Becky Martinez and Angela Layden who filled in when someone was absent.
